Phi Golden Ratio

The Crazy Tube Circuits Phi (Φ) is an all-analog compressor pedal that combines three selectable compression circuits in a single unit: FET, OTA, and Optical. Each mode offers distinct compression characteristics, allowing the pedal to cover everything from subtle signal leveling to stronger compression and limiting. The FET mode provides fast response and added coloration, the OTA mode delivers tighter and more controlled compression with strong transient handling, and the Optical mode offers smoother, more natural compression with gradual attack and release behavior. A blend control enables parallel compression by mixing the compressed and dry signals, helping preserve clarity and dynamics. An internal switch allows operation at either 9V or 18V internal voltage from a standard 9V power supply, increasing available headroom when set to 18V. Suitable for guitar, bass, and studio applications.
