PowerStage 170

The Seymour Duncan PowerStage 170 is a compact 170-watt pedalboard amplifier designed to replace a traditional amp head in portable rigs. It combines a clean preamp with a powerful output stage, making it well suited to conventional pedalboards, preamp pedals and digital modelers connected directly to a speaker cabinet. Its 3-band analog EQ provides Bass, Mid and Treble controls with ±13 dB adjustment, allowing quick compensation for different cabinets and venues, while the large Master Volume can be adjusted by foot during performance. It delivers 170 watts into 4 ohms and supports 4–16-ohm cabinets through a single speaker output. An internal power supply uses a standard IEC connection, eliminating an external adapter. Compact and lightweight, it is designed for gigs, fly dates and backup rigs.
