EVH Modern High Gain

The MXR EVH Modern High Gain Distortion Pedal is a high-gain guitar effects pedal developed in collaboration with Eddie Van Halen to capture the aggressive, modern high gain tones of the EVH 5150III amp’s red lead channel. It delivers intense distortion with tight low end, focused mids, and clear high frequencies even at extreme gain settings. The pedal offers a comprehensive three-band EQ with Bass, Mid, and Treble knobs for detailed tonal shaping. Additional features include a selectable low-frequency voicing switch to tailor the bottom end, a built-in noise gate for clean high-gain performance and a Boost switch for extra saturation and sustain.
