Sub Atømic

DSM Humboldt Sub Atomic is an all-analog, two-channel bass preamp built to cover everything from pristine clarity to aggressive, modern drive. It features a dedicated Clean channel with Gain and Tone controls for warm, tube-like response, alongside the Subatomic channel, designed for massive low-end and cutting distortion using cascading CMOS stages. The Subatomic channel includes Blend control, selectable sub-low filters (Off, 100 Hz, 500 Hz), voicing options, and independent level control, allowing precise shaping without losing punch or definition. A full 3-band EQ (Bass, Mid, High) provides further tonal control across both channels. With balanced XLR output, onboard cabinet simulation, and standard 9V DC operation, Sub Atomic works equally well as a pedalboard centerpiece, studio preamp, or direct-to-PA solution. It’s a compact but powerful tool for bassists who need flexibility, weight, and character in one unit.
