Real Cool Fuzz

My take on the Stooges/Asheton fuzz tone, based on the Fuzzrite and heavily modded. here's the deal... That ear piercing treble is rolled off while retaining the raunchy 60's transistor fight the original silicon versions were legendary for. This is the ideal pedal for trashy garage rock n roll, retro psych fuzz, and nasty dirt riffage. There is more depth to the tone, and there's some cool subtle octave harmonic stuff going on about halfway through the dirt control. A lot of time was spent sampling types of transistor pairings for these… small changes make a huge difference in this circuit. It’s very dynamic and holds strong definition without too much crazy fuzz washout…but still nasty and aggressive like you would expect from Daredevil.
