Hobo Drive

The T-Rex Hobo Drive is a dynamic overdrive designed to work like a true preamp, giving you full control over how much drive hits the master stage. Think of it as two pedals in one: a responsive overdrive preamp and a flexible boost section. The overdrive is shaped with Preamp, Master, and Tone controls. Lower Preamp and raise Master for smoother drive, or push the Preamp and reduce Master for thicker, more saturated tones. The Tone control fine-tunes brightness and overall character. A fully adjustable Boost section adds extra power for solos and can be routed either after the preamp for pure volume lift or before it to drive the circuit harder for increased gain and sustain. Versatile and expressive, the Hobo Drive delivers everything from warm edge-of-breakup tones to rich, punchy overdrive.
