The Thermion Black Sun is an analog rotophaser designed to recreate classic rotary speaker textures with rich movement and depth. From vintage swirl to grungy modulation and experimental tones, it delivers expressive, three-dimensional modulation inspired by iconic rotary sounds. Dedicated Drum (Bass) and Horns (Treble) EQ controls shape the low and high frequencies independently, mimicking the character of a real rotating speaker. The modulation section includes Waveform, Cycle (duty cycle), and Depth controls for precise shaping of the effect. Advanced tempo controls allow switching between Green and Red speeds, with adjustable transition times and a Multiplier to alter oscillation rate. It supports both Tap Tempo mode and manual Speed mode for flexible live control. With true bypass and deep tone shaping, Black Sun offers powerful, authentic rotary-style modulation.
