The Your Face 70’s delivers the tight bite of a classic silicon Fuzz Face with carefully tuned upgrades for smoother, more controlled performance. Built around two hand-matched BC108 silicon transistors, it captures authentic ’70s fuzz character while reducing harsh highs and unwanted squeal thanks to added smoothing capacitors and low-noise metal film resistors. Output has been increased for stronger volume on tap, and a reverse-log Fuzz control expands the usable range for precise gain adjustment. A Mullard “tropical fish” output capacitor with increased value enhances low-end presence and fullness. The custom “You” control acts as a low-cut, tightening bass response and reducing low-end compression for greater clarity. The result is a versatile, high-gain silicon fuzz with vintage attitude and modern refinement.
