Caprid Small Foot

The Wren and Cuff Caprid Small Foot is a pedalboard-friendly version of the original Caprid, inspired by the legendary ’70s Ram’s Head-style Muff. The original Caprid blended elements from multiple vintage circuit variations to capture the most musical traits of each. The Small Foot edition preserves that core character in a compact enclosure, using modern metal film resistors, standard-size capacitors, and a redesigned PCB for quieter operation and practical board integration. While not identical to the large-format original, it delivers a remarkably close tonal experience. Sonically, it offers smooth, sustaining fuzz that can shift from violin-like lead tones to gritty, driven textures as you roll back the distortion. Expect a medium-to-heavy mid scoop with generous saturation and rich harmonic bloom.
