Anna

Anna was created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Second Stage Turbine Blade and one of Claudio Sanchez’s most trusted studio and stage combinations: an ’80s SD-1-style overdrive feeding a ’78 op-amp Muff. True to vintage form, the Muff side remains faithful to the original circuit, complete with the classic tone bypass toggle for a louder, more raw, mid-forward voice. The drive side, however, expands the sonic palette. A four-position rotary switch reshapes the clipping character, offering the stock SD-1-style response, LED clipping for a harder edge, no diodes for a big, open boost, and a TS-inspired flavor. An additional toggle pushes the drive into a higher-gain, thicker, more powerful mode. Both sides operate independently or together, with the drive slamming the Muff for rich saturation and controlled chaos. The result is a versatile fusion of fuzz and overdrive — expressive, powerful, and built for exploration.
