Begin with all controls at noon and shape from there. The pedal features a naturally sizzly top end by design, helping riffs cut through dense mixes. If the highs feel too sharp, an internal “hi-cut” dip switch offers a subtle smoothing option. While not a clone, it can achieve tones reminiscent of the distortion sounds used by bands like Hum, Swervedriver, and My Bloody Valentine.
