The Toad

The Toad is a tribute to classic germanium tone and the legacy of Cesar Diaz. Combining a Dallas Rangemaster-style treble booster and a Fuzz Face in one compact enclosure, it delivers raw, organic 60s character with modern refinement. Both circuits are fully germanium-based, built around carefully selected Tungsram AC125 transistors for authentic vintage response. With the treble booster feeding the fuzz, The Toad moves from sweet, chimey boost to roaring, harmonically rich germanium saturation, echoing the spirit of a Tone Bender MkII while retaining its own voice. Hand-built and fine-tuned with matched NOS transistors, each unit offers dynamic, touch-sensitive feel and unmistakable warmth. Limited to 250 numbered pieces worldwide in 2025.
