Pelion

The Pelion Overdrive is my interpretation of the legendary Klon Centaur, shaped by years of experimentation and refinement. After building and revising numerous versions over nearly a decade, I set out to create a clone that feels as authentic and inspiring as the original, yet carries its own character. What makes the Pelion different is its True Bypass design, removing the traditional buffer when disengaged for a pure, unaffected signal path. The real breakthrough, however, came with the discovery of rare NOS germanium diodes, sourced from old stock and carefully selected for their tonal character. The result is a dynamic, transparent drive with rich harmonics and refined response, a classic circuit reborn with vintage soul and obsessive attention to detail.
