Freaky Stone

Freaky Stone is a vintage-voiced bass overdrive built around full germanium circuitry. Inspired by the cracked-amp tones of legends like McCartney, Jones, Lemmy and Commerford, it delivers raw character, warmth and attitude for bass players who want classic grit. The pedal combines two all-germanium circuits, a Rangemaster-style booster into a Fuzz Face, creating everything from rich preamp drive to saturated fuzz. Together they recreate the feel of an old-school bass amp pushed to its limits, with plenty of tonal flexibility. Limited to 50 units, each built with hand-selected NOS germanium transistors, carefully matched for authentic response. Designed primarily for passive basses, active instruments will yield a brighter character, a natural trait of germanium circuits.
