Black Box is a high-gain distortion pedal designed for guitarists seeking powerful hard rock and metal tones. Inspired by the aggressive character of classic high-gain amplifiers such as the 5150® and Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier®, it delivers tight saturation, strong attack and the punch needed for modern heavy styles. A responsive 3-band EQ provides precise control across a wide frequency range, allowing players to boost the bass for tight palm-muted riffs, cut the mids for classic 80s metal tones, or add treble for sharper articulation and presence. A voice switch offers two distinct tonal characters: Classic mode delivers a warmer, slightly compressed distortion, while Hard mode produces a brighter, more open sound with greater clarity and a wider frequency spectrum.
