FX82 Bass Compressor

The DOD FX82 Bass Compressor is a compression and sustain pedal specifically designed for electric bass guitar. It reduces the dynamic range between loud and quiet notes, providing more consistent output levels, increased sustain and improved control over signal peaks. Three controls provide sound adjustment: Level sets the output volume, Attack determines how quickly compression responds to the incoming signal, and Compression adjusts the amount of dynamic reduction, offering up to 40 dB before limiting occurs. The pedal features FET electronic switching for quiet effect activation, an LED indicator that also provides battery status information, and a rugged die-cast metal enclosure with a non-slip rubber base. It operates from a 9V battery or a compatible external power adapter connected through a 3.5 mm power jack.
