Preamp Crunch +

The PastFx Preamp Crunch Plus is an expanded version of the Preamp Crunch Classic, delivering warm, chimey preamp-style overdrive with enhanced control. Based on the isolated preamp circuit from the Chorus Ensemble, it provides natural compression, smooth saturation, and dynamic response. The Level control shapes gain, tone, and output, while a High/Low switch adapts to different signal strengths. A switchable buffer adds flexibility for various setups. The added Master control is the key upgrade, allowing precise volume adjustment, from unity gain to reduced output, even at higher gain settings. With the Master fully up, it behaves like the original Classic. Lowering it lets you push the preamp harder without excessive volume. Compact and versatile, it’s ideal for subtle breakup, edge-of-clean tones, or controlled crunch.
