The PastFx Patriarch is a high-gain fuzz inspired by the Buffalo FX Patriot and the iconic Sovtek “Civil War” Big Muff sound. It delivers massive low end, powerful sustain, and cutting lead tones, while maintaining a surprisingly low noise floor. Designed to stand out in the mix, it offers strong note definition and natural compression, making it ideal for thick, aggressive fuzz tones. Unlike many Muff-style pedals, the Patriarch features enhanced mid presence, with a dedicated Mids control to shape your tone, plus a Lows cut knob to tighten the bottom end. An internal switch provides additional EQ options for deeper tone sculpting. From gritty bite to full-on wall-of-sound fuzz, the Patriarch delivers versatile, expressive, and commanding high-gain tones.
