Built around an optical photocell and discrete FET stages, it delivers clean, musical compression with rich character. A parallel Mix control lets you blend dry and compressed signals for precise dynamics. It features advanced sidechain options, including an equal-loudness filter and an external input for signal processing or expression control. Make-up gain adds harmonic richness, while the tone control shapes the high end. With support for up to 18V for increased headroom, the Ixion adapts easily to guitar, bass, or studio use, delivering warm, detailed compression across a wide range of applications.
