It keeps the rich, saturated character of the original while adding serious flexibility. A high-impedance input works with both active and passive instruments, and a low-pass blend control lets you mix clean lows back into your tone for tight, percussive depth. Three clipping modes (silicon, LED, or none) offer a wide range of textures, from classic fuzz to more open, touch-sensitive distortion. The added Mids control brings back frequencies typically scooped in traditional designs, while the tilt EQ shapes your overall tone. With low noise, a strong low-impedance output, and support up to 24V, the Calamity delivers powerful, versatile fuzz that sits perfectly in any rig.
