The Firebrand is a tribute to the rare Depth Charge fuzz, delivering massive, synth-like tones favored by bassists and guitarists. It covers a wide range, from smooth, velvety fuzz to huge, aggressive walls of sound, with deep lows and cutting highs that stay present in any mix. Its dual fuzz design lets you blend between a full-range fuzz boost and a crushing octave fuzz. As the blend increases, the second stage adds gain and introduces powerful octave textures. The tone control shapes everything from scooped, aggressive sounds to fuller, more balanced fuzz. Powered at 9V for classic tones, higher voltages introduce gating effects, allowing for more experimental and glitchy textures depending on how you balance both stages.
