The Omnicomp is a versatile optical compressor designed for both pedalboards and studio use, combining clarity, control, and musical response. Powered by an internal 30V supply and a Burr Brown op amp, it delivers high headroom, low noise, and handles signals up to line level with ease. Its vactrol-based compression provides smooth, natural dynamics, while a tuned sidechain high-pass filter prevents low frequencies from over-triggering compression. Suitable for bass, guitar, drums, and vocals, it offers even, transparent control across the full range. Controls include Gain (+20 dB), Blend, Ratio, Attack, Release, and Threshold, giving precise shaping of your dynamics. A responsive LED mirrors the compression behavior, making it easy to dial in the perfect settings quickly.
