TS9 Tube Screamer

Report incorrect information
The Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer is one of the most iconic overdrive pedals ever made, reissued to preserve the sound, appearance, and simple control layout of the original. Its analog overdrive circuit uses asymmetric clipping to produce a smooth, organic overdrive with the characteristic midrange emphasis ("mid-hump") that has defined countless guitar tones. The pedal can be used as a low-gain overdrive or as a clean boost to push a tube amplifier into natural breakup while adding sustain, clarity, and presence. Three controls—Drive, Tone, and Level—provide straightforward adjustment of gain, EQ, and output level. The TS9 has been widely used by players including Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Mayer, Gary Moore, and Kirk Hammett.
