This compact overdrive is designed to provide a solid tonal foundation, covering everything from clean boost to low-gain overdrive with a pronounced midrange character. It features a 27V booster circuit powered by a charge pump IC, along with carefully selected components and board design to achieve a low-noise signal path. The pedal uses a compact enclosure with a large pointer-style control knob for easy adjustment. A mechanical relay controls the buffered bypass, automatically switching the pedal to bypass when power is removed and restoring its previous on/off state when power returns. It also includes voltage monitoring that flashes the LED and automatically engages bypass if the supply voltage rises above or falls below the expected 9V operating range.
