Archangel

The Spline Laboratories Archangel is a high-gain distortion pedal with an integrated adaptive noise gate, designed to deliver aggressive tones while maintaining clarity, tight low-end response, and note definition. A two-position Voice switch selects between a mid-forward, higher-headroom mode and a more saturated voice with an upper-mid scoop for stacking with other gain pedals. Gain, Tone, Lows, and Level controls provide extensive shaping, from articulate low-gain drive to dense, modern distortion, with independent adjustment of high and low frequencies. The adaptive Gate follows playing dynamics, tightening stop-and-start riffs without unnecessarily cutting sustain. The Archangel features soft-click relay bypass, top-mounted audio and power jacks, and is suitable for guitar, bass, synths, or stacked high-gain setups.
