Preamp

Report incorrect information
The Dirty Boy Preamp is an all-analog preamp, overdrive, and amp simulator powered by proprietary T.A.E. (Tube Amp Emulation) technology developed by Danny Gomez. Based on the custom amplifier designed by Alex Saraceno and used by Blues Saraceno, it can function as a direct recording solution, a preamp into an amplifier's effects return, or a touch-sensitive overdrive/boost into the front of an amp. Controls include Gain, Tone, Volume, and Variac, which simulates the response of a voltage-starved tube amplifier. The pedal provides both a preamp output and a speaker-emulated output modeled after a closed-back 4×12 Greenback cabinet, allowing direct connection to mixers, audio interfaces, or PA systems without requiring an amplifier.
