Headlight

The Radial Engineering Headlight is a four-output amplifier switcher designed to route a single instrument signal to multiple amplifiers or direct boxes. It features a Class-A input buffer with adjustable Drag Control load correction, allowing players to optimize input impedance and preserve the natural response of their guitar pickups. Four individually selectable outputs use custom isolation transformers to minimize ground-loop hum and interference, with additional ground lift switches for noise reduction. A dedicated selector footswitch allows switching between connected amplifiers, while a second footswitch can be configured for muting the signal during tuning or activating all four outputs simultaneously. Bright LED indicators identify the active output. The Headlight can also operate as an ABY switcher, enabling individual or simultaneous operation of two amplifiers.
