SansAmp PSA 2.0 Programmable Instrument Preamp

The Tech 21 SansAmp PSA 2.0 condenses the PSA-1 rackmount preamp into a compact programmable pedal. Its 100% analog signal path combines SansAmp amp and speaker simulation with Buzz, Punch, Crunch, Drive and Gain controls, plus a two-band active EQ with ±18 dB of boost/cut. Digital programming provides 128 memory locations, while Performance Mode offers instant access to three presets. The PSA 2.0 can be used for direct recording, as a preamp into a power amp, direct to a PA, or as an outboard processor for guitar, bass and other instruments. MIDI support enables preset recall and data storage, while the built-in speaker simulation can be defeated when required.
