Ultimate Octave

The Fulltone Ultimate Octave combines a smooth BC108 silicon-transistor fuzz with an active tone circuit and a separately footswitchable octave-up effect. The Fat/Bright switch changes the overall voicing of both fuzz and octave: Fat provides a thicker, more mid-forward response, while Bright opens the high end with slightly scooped mids. Volume, Tone and Distortion controls provide further shaping, and the octave effect responds across different pickups and fretboard positions, with the neck pickup producing the most pronounced octave. This version retains the original Ultimate Octave circuit and voicing without modification, while moving it into an enclosure less than half the width of its predecessor and retaining the dual-footswitch layout.
