Pugilist V2

The Fender Pugilist V2 combines two independent distortion circuits, each with dedicated Gain, Tone and Level controls and its own footswitch. Engine A provides a brighter, treble-rich distortion suited to lead tones, while Engine B delivers a thicker, heavier voice. A three-position Path switch determines how the two circuits interact: two Series modes stack one engine into the other for cascading gain, while Parallel mode runs them side by side, allowing their levels and tonal characteristics to be blended. Global Mid Cut and Bass Boost switches provide additional EQ shaping. The Pugilist V2 also offers selectable true or buffered bypass and footswitches with both latching and momentary operation.
