Airborn Flanger
Report incorrect information
The Krozz Devices Airborn is a fully analog flanger built around a BBD (Bucket-Brigade Device), designed to cover classic jet-plane sweeps, conventional flanging and more unusual resonant textures. Volume can boost the signal above unity, while Range sets the frequency span of the modulation and Rate controls sweep speed. Feedback determines resonance and can reach self-oscillation at high settings. The Low Pass control filters only the modulated signal, allowing brighter traditional flanging or darker, subtler textures. A +/- switch selects positive or negative feedback, with negative settings producing a more hollow, talk-box-like character. The oscillator can also be locked to freeze the sweep at a fixed frequency, while the footswitch supports bypass and momentary maximum-speed operation.
