SSS (Slight Return)

The Vertex Steel String Supreme Slight Return Edition is an all-analog preamp, boost and overdrive voiced after serial #001 of a rare Dumble Steel String Singer-style 100-watt 6L6 amplifier. At lower Gain settings it functions as a clean boost and tone shaper, adding compression, harmonic richness and the glassy response associated with D-style cleans. Increasing Gain moves through bluesy breakup into full overdrive. An active EQ provides detailed frequency shaping, while Bright/Deep adjusts high-end glass or low-end depth and Rock/Jazz changes the overall voicing and midrange response. It can feed a traditional amplifier, amp modeler, or run directly into a cabinet simulator/IR loader. Level controls output volume, and the pedal uses true bypass switching.
