The Laney Black Country Customs Steelpark is an all-analog boost pedal offering up to 30 dB of clean gain for pushing an amplifier harder, increasing level for solos, or stacking with other gain pedals. Its three selectable modes shape the boost for different applications: Upper Mid Boost emphasizes higher midrange frequencies for extra presence and cut, Neutral Boost provides a more transparent response, and Low Mid Boost adds body and weight. The high-headroom design works well before or after overdrive and distortion pedals and is also suited to pushing non-master-volume amplifiers into natural breakup. The analog signal path introduces no processing latency, while silent switching minimizes noise when engaging the effect. It provides a consistent load for passive volume pedals and is housed in a solid metal chassis.
