The Laney Black Country Customs The 85 is a bass pitch and interval pedal offering studio-quality tracking with independent control over multiple pitch voices. A dedicated Octave control adds one octave below the original signal, while the switchable Interval section provides three additional choices: one octave up, two octaves down, or a perfect fifth above. Separate Direct, Octave and Interval level controls allow each voice to be blended independently. The Focus control adjusts the character of the processed sound, ranging from classic sub-octave tones to larger, synth-like textures. An expression pedal can control level and be assigned to the Interval section for real-time performance control. The 85 operates fully buffered at all times and features silent switching, a tri-color mode indicator and a solid metal chassis.
