Black Country Customs Blackheath

The Laney Black Country Customs Blackheath is a triple-mode bass distortion and overdrive pedal designed to cover a broad range of gain sounds while retaining bass definition. Its three modes—DIST 1, DIST 2 and OVERDRIVE—range from aggressive distortion and heavier saturated tones to warmer, tube-like drive and subtle breakup for adding character to cleaner sounds. Gain controls the amount of saturation, Volume sets the output level, while Range and Colour provide additional control over the frequency response and overall voicing. The Blackheath operates fully buffered at all times, providing a consistent load for the signal chain and passive volume pedals. It also features silent switching, a tri-color LED for clear mode identification and a solid metal chassis.
