Moth Electric

P. isabella (Ram's Head)

Report incorrect information
The Moth Electric P. isabella Ram’s Head is a fuzz/distortion based on the 1973 Violet Ram’s Head Muff, with increased gain and sustain particularly suited to lead playing. Classic mode stays close to the original character, delivering singing, violin-like sustain with top-end sizzle, while Modern mode provides significantly higher output with a more open, less compressed response. Tone shapes the overall frequency response, while the dedicated Mid control helps the fuzz stand out in a mix. Blend mixes the processed signal with the clean input, from fully wet to fully dry, preserving dynamics or allowing effects placed before the pedal to be layered with the fuzz. Fuzz controls gain and Volume sets output level. Hand-built in the USA with through-hole construction, top-mounted jacks and true-bypass switching. Runs on 9V DC center-negative power at 6 mA.
