A. incorrupta

The Moth Electric A. incorrupta is a highly modified take on the classic RAT op-amp distortion circuit, designed for greater tonal flexibility, fidelity and output headroom. Independent Bass, Mid and Treble controls provide detailed three-band EQ shaping, while Drive sets distortion and Volume controls the boosted high-headroom output stage. A five-position clipping selector substantially changes the pedal’s response: Germanium provides smooth, compressed distortion; FET offers a slightly softer response than Silicon; Silicon delivers classic RAT-style clipping; Asymmetrical produces more textured harmonics; and LED provides less compression with higher output. The pedal is hand-built in the USA using through-hole construction and features top-mounted jacks and true-bypass switching. Runs on 9V DC center-negative power at 15 mA.
