Imperium

The Sinvertek Imperium Drive is an overdrive built around NOS Raytheon military-grade dual-can op-amps originally manufactured for U.S. military radar systems. These rare vintage components were selected for their natural, woody character, rich harmonics and extreme output. The pedal is designed to pair particularly well with vintage-style guitars and amplifiers while remaining suitable for modern equipment. Its circuit was developed specifically around these Raytheon op-amps rather than adapting an existing design to them. Each pedal receives an individually selected op-amp from a limited collection of discontinued components, making production inherently limited by their availability.
