FM-7 (Red)

The Fuzzlord Effects FM-7 is a six-band active EQ designed for guitar and bass, particularly for shaping high-gain overdrive, distortion and fuzz sounds. Its gyrator-based EQ provides ±15 dB of boost or cut at 100 Hz, 180 Hz, 420 Hz, 720 Hz, 1.5 kHz and 3 kHz, while a Level control adjusts the overall output and can be used to boost following effects. The frequency bands are specifically tuned to work well with down-tuned instruments, allowing precise control of low-end tightness, midrange presence and overall tonal balance. The FM-7 can significantly reshape the character of dirt pedals or be used to tailor an instrument’s response for better definition and presence in a mix.
