Highway 41
Report incorrect information
The Highway 41 Overdrive is a dynamic overdrive designed to capture the guitar tones associated with Allman Brothers guitarist Dickey Betts across different periods of his career. A two-position voicing switch provides V1 for his cleaner, articulate 1970s tones and M2 for the warmer, more saturated sounds of the 1980s and 1990s. Its controls allow adjustment of gain, output volume, tone and Voice, with the latter emphasizing JBL-like upper-mid character. The pedal is designed for tube-amp-like response, sustain and sensitivity to playing dynamics, covering clean-edged boost through warm, mid-rich overdrive. It features true bypass and operates from a 9V DC supply.
It is particularly suited to Southern rock, blues rock, classic rock, country rock, jam rock and expressive lead guitar.
