Rotary 2
Report incorrect information
The KJams Rotary 2 is a dual-speed rotary speaker simulator based on the Spin FV-1 DSP chip and designed through comparison with an original rotary speaker. It simulates separate woofer and horn sections with an 800 Hz crossover, different rotation speeds and acceleration/deceleration rates, along with pitch and volume changes based on simulated speaker position. Single mode provides two Speed settings and adjustable Horn/Woofer balance, while Dual mode adds a second horn for a more chorus-like effect. The Spd1/Spd2 footswitch selects between the two Speed controls, with gradual or immediate transitions depending on their relative settings. Hi/Lo Mix adjusts the balance between horn and woofer, and Volume controls output level. An external Spd1/Spd2 input and expression control for Speed 1 are also provided. It operates from 9V DC at 62 mA and supports up to 18V DC. It is designed, engineered and assembled in Holland, Michigan, USA, with a solid wood faceplate.
