Trés Tone

The Tres Tone is a dual overdrive and compressor pedal inspired by Trey Anastasio’s 1994-era tones. It combines separate Lo-Gain and Hi-Gain overdrive circuits with a vintage-style compressor. Each drive section has fixed gain with independent Tone and Level controls: Lo-Gain provides lighter crunch, Hi-Gain delivers more saturated lead tones, and both can be combined for stacked gain and increased harmonics. A toggle switch engages the compressor, which is designed to add sustain, consistency and dynamic control without heavily coloring the signal. The pedal operates from a 9V DC center-negative power supply and draws 50 mA.
