Doppel

The Doppel is an octave fuzz based on the Foxx Tone Machine, modified for a heavier, smoother response and expanded tone shaping. Fuzz controls both gain and filtering, progressively changing the midrange response and moving from a slight low-end cut to a thick, full sound. Jolt blends in undistorted low frequencies while adding extra grit, and Tone provides a Big Muff-style response voiced with increased midrange. An internal DIP switch provides additional midrange reduction or a deep mid-scoop. Level offers substantial output gain. A dedicated footswitch engages the octave-up section, while Octave adjusts its intensity from subtle to pronounced. The circuit is designed to retain low end even with high Jolt and Octave settings. It operates exclusively from a standard 9V DC center-negative supply and does not support battery operation.
