Chug

The Solar CHUG is a high-gain preamp pedal designed to replace the high-gain preamp channel of a guitar amplifier. Its signal path uses high- and low-frequency filtering followed by adjustable Gain for overdrive and distortion. Tone shaping includes Bass, Middle and Treble EQ plus Depth and Presence controls for additional low- and high-frequency response. An integrated noise gate is controlled by the input signal, with the LED changing color to indicate its operation. The Output control functions as a master volume. The pedal is housed in an all-metal enclosure and requires a 9V DC power supply capable of at least 100 mA.
