Moonbow

The Land Devices Moonbow is a resonant filter overdrive combining a dual-mode voltage-controlled filter with an overdriven mixer-style channel stage. The filter is positioned before the overdrive, allowing its resonant peaks to be compressed or driven into heavier saturation. A HP/LP switch selects high-pass or low-pass filtering, while Cutoff sweeps the filter from 20 Hz to 5 kHz and Resonance controls the intensity, reaching self-oscillation at high settings. Gain provides -13 dB to +20 dB of adjustment, allowing operation with both instrument- and line-level signals, while Level controls the final output. The filter cutoff can also be controlled externally through a 0–5 V CV input. Moonbow uses relay-based true bypass, mono 1/4-inch audio connections, and a 3.5 mm CV input.
