DC9 Dynamic Compressor

The Behringer DC9 Dynamics Compressor is a guitar compressor based closely on the classic MXR Dyna Comp design. Its OTA-based circuit uses an LM13700 and provides strong limiting-style compression with a ratio greater than 20:1, helping control signal peaks, raise quieter passages and increase sustain. The two-knob interface consists of Sensitivity, which adjusts the amount and intensity of compression, and Output, which sets the output level and provides gain compensation. Unlike many Behringer compact pedals, the DC9 uses a metal enclosure and features hard-wire bypass. A blue LED indicates effect status and battery condition. It can be powered by a 9V battery or a standard negative-tip 9V DC supply.
