EX-4 Effects Expander

The BOSS EX-4 is a compact multi-effects processor designed to expand an existing pedalboard. It provides 120 BOSS effects, including overdrive/distortion, modulation, delay, reverb, bass effects and utility functions, with up to four effects running simultaneously. Chains can use series, parallel and wet/dry routing, while the configurable send/return allows external pedals to be inserted and reordered within the signal path. A 2.4-inch color display, dedicated FX buttons and Gear Suite settings provide direct editing and quick effect configuration. Manual and Memory modes support stompbox-style or preset operation, with 128 factory guitar/bass presets and 128 user memories. It also features stereo I/O, global EQ, expression/footswitch control, TRS MIDI I/O and two assignable multi-function footswitches.
