Epstein Isn't Dead

The Acorn Amplifiers Epstein Isn’t Dead is a boost and distortion pedal built around a single op-amp drive circuit. It combines clean signal boosting with higher-gain distortion using two controls. Palm Beach adjusts the boost level, adding gain while retaining the character of the instrument and amplifier, while Plastic Surgery controls the distortion gain for heavier saturation suitable for guitar or bass. A Relocation Services toggle determines whether the illuminated “N’T” section of the pedal’s graphics remains continuously active or switches with the effect bypass. The pedal operates from a standard 9V DC power supply and draws less than 80 mA.
