Moka

The Moka is a Harmonic Percolator-inspired fuzz and overdrive pedal combining three circuit variations: classic germanium, silicon and a modified germanium configuration based on Steve Albini's personal unit. A transistor selector switches between germanium, using a NOS Russian transistor, and silicon, while the Albini's Specs option changes resistor values in germanium mode. Vintage and Modern clipping modes offer different diode configurations, with Modern providing increased clarity and headroom. Harmonics controls input gain, ranging from light overdrive to saturated fuzz. Weight adjusts the input capacitor to vary low-frequency content, from full-range response to treble-focused tones. Clipping controls the amount of signal sent to the clipping diodes, allowing further adjustment of distortion and output level.
