Compressor Plus Germanium (Brushed Aluminium)

The Keeley Compressor Plus Germanium is a 25th Anniversary edition of the Compressor Plus, celebrating 25 years of Keeley Electronics with a revised germanium-based circuit. A Japanese-style germanium transistor is used in both the audio output section and the compressor’s side-chain feedback circuit, giving this version a different response from the standard Compressor Plus. Compression controls the amount of compression and sustain, Level sets output volume, Tone shapes the high-frequency response, and Blend mixes the dry and compressed signals to retain natural attack while adding sustain and dynamic control. The pedal offers switchable true or buffered bypass and operates from 9–18V DC center-negative power with a low 25 mA current draw. It is designed and built in Oklahoma, USA.
